Bus Dénia reports 31% increase in August ridership

The new Bus Dénia municipal service reported a significant increase in ridership, recording 68,700 passengers in August. This figure represents a 30.9% increase compared to August 2019, which was previously the highest recorded month for the former concessionaire.

On average, the service transported 2,216 passengers daily throughout August. Data indicates that travel to beaches drives much of the demand, with the L3 line accounting for 60.5% of all trips, totaling 41,540 passengers. The L2 line showed the highest average occupancy per trip, with 17.09 passengers per journey, marking a 97% increase in users compared to previous periods.
