Bus driver dies after collision in Şırnak

A fatal traffic accident occurred at the entrance of Hilal town in the Uludere district of Şırnak, involving a passenger bus and a truck carrying bees. The bus, driven by 63-year-old Sabri Yumak, was traveling from Antalya toward Yüksekova when it collided with a truck operated by S. G. on a narrow road.

In-vehicle camera footage shows the truck's trailer sliding into the bus's lane during the encounter. The impact caused the bus to veer off the road and strike the roof of a house. Sabri Yumak died in the accident, while 14 passengers sustained injuries.

Following the collision, gendarmerie teams launched an investigation. The truck driver, S. G., was taken into custody and subsequently arrested by the court.
