Bus driver in Kastamonu returns handbag filled with money

A public bus driver in Kastamonu, Turkey, returned a handbag containing a large amount of money to its owner. The driver, Rahmi Kılıç, was operating a route from the city center to the Kuzeykent neighborhood when a passenger dropped the bag.

Upon receiving the bag from another passenger, Kılıç opened it in front of a security camera to document its contents, discovering the significant sum of money. He immediately handed the bag over to the Kastamonu Minibüsçüler Kooperatifi ve Özel Halk Otobüsü İşletmesi. Cooperative President Mehmet Tiryakioğlu confirmed that the bag and its contents were successfully returned to the female passenger.

Tiryakioğlu praised Kılıç for his integrity and noted that the cooperative has a history of returning lost items, including money, phones, and bags, found across their fleet of 130 vehicles.
