Bus driver praised for assisting passenger with mobility issues

A bus driver from Gyeongnam Express gained widespread praise online after assisting a passenger with mobility issues who had an accident on a long-distance bus.

A passenger traveling from Seoul to Yangsan reported that a person in their 50s or 60s, who struggled to walk without a cane, was unable to reach a restroom in time. Upon arriving at a highway service area, the driver personally helped wash the passenger and assisted them in changing into clean clothes.

A fellow passenger, a cafe owner from Yangsan, assisted the driver by purchasing new trousers for the individual and helping with the cleanup. The driver also ensured the passenger was provided with an umbrella and helped them safely re-board the bus. Witnesses noted that the driver remained professional and kind throughout the process, even cleaning the seat and providing a cushion for the passenger's return journey.
