Bus driver Yasemin Alıç saves passenger in İnegöl

Yasemin Alıç, a bus driver working for BURULAŞ under the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, provided critical assistance to a female passenger who fell ill while traveling in İnegöl. On Tuesday, September 29, around 17:00 in the Hamidiye neighborhood, Alıç noticed a passenger in the rear of the bus feeling unwell.

Alıç immediately contacted the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the situation and provide location details, ensuring an ambulance was dispatched to the scene. The passenger, who was determined to have suffered a heart attack, was transported to İnegöl State Hospital. Medical reports later confirmed the passenger is in good condition.

In a notable coincidence, the passenger was found to be the mother of another public bus driver. This marks the second time Alıç has performed similar life-saving actions; in May, she also assisted a passenger in reaching a hospital during an emergency. Alıç emphasized the importance of contacting emergency services immediately during health crises.
