Bus drivers clash in Belgrade leaving one seriously injured

A violent physical altercation occurred between two bus drivers on line 511 at the Sremčica turnaround in Belgrade. The dispute reportedly began over a scheduling disagreement after one driver, K. G., notified their employer that the other driver, 55-year-old W. S., had departed three minutes early.

The confrontation escalated when K. G. struck W. S. in the head with a metal rod. In response, W. S. allegedly used an apple-cutting knife to stab K. G. A passerby discovered K. G. injured on the ground and alerted the police.

K. G. was transported to the Urgent Care Center with serious injuries, including a cut tendon in his hand, cuts on his upper arm, and a puncture wound to the chest. He remains hospitalized in the thoracic surgery department. W. S. was detained by police and subsequently released to defend himself from freedom. He has been charged with serious bodily harm by the Second Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade. Authorities confirmed that W. S. is a foreign national with a legally registered residence in Serbia.
