Bus overturns on Morón-Coro highway in Falcón, injuring passengers

An executive Volvo bus overturned on the Morón-Coro national highway in the Píritu municipality of Falcón state, resulting in multiple injuries. The vehicle was carrying approximately 60 passengers on a tourist excursion traveling from Zulia state to the beaches of Chichiriviche.

Reports indicate between 13 and 30 people sustained injuries during the accident. The injured individuals were transported to the Susana Maduro Hospital in Tocópero for medical attention. Emergency response teams, including Falcón State Firefighters, Civil Protection, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), and Polifalcón, were deployed to the scene to assist victims and secure the area.

Passengers who were not injured remained at the site awaiting a replacement vehicle provided by the excursion organizers to either continue their trip or return to Zulia. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that caused the vehicle to overturn.
