Bus rollover near Cartago leaves several injured

A transport bus overturned on Tuesday night at the entrance to Cartago, Valle del Cauca, in the Puerto Caldas sector. The accident occurred on the road connecting Cartago and Pereira, at the border between Risaralda and Valle del Cauca.

Several people were injured in the incident. Preliminary reports indicate the passengers were employees of the same company and were transported to local medical centers for urgent care.

Authorities and rescue teams temporarily closed the road to provide medical assistance and use heavy machinery to remove the vehicle. Traffic investigations are underway to determine why the driver lost control of the bus.
