Bus Simulator 27 announces cooperative multiplayer and crossplay

Bus Simulator 27 is scheduled for release on September 8, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A new multiplayer trailer has revealed a cooperative mode where up to four players can establish, expand, and manage a bus company together in the Felicia Bay region.

Key features of the multiplayer mode include the ability to operate the same route collectively or manage different lines independently. Players can also assist one another with tasks such as ticket inspections. The game will support cross-platform play, allowing users to manage companies across different supported systems.

A playable demo will be available at this year’s gamescom at the astragon Entertainment booth, featuring city and new intercity routes. The booth will also showcase a real Solaris Urbino 12 bus through a partnership with Solaris. Pre-orders are currently available, with a Deluxe Pack bonus including specific bus models and skins. A Year 1 Edition will also be offered, featuring a Season Pass that includes the Mercedes-Benz Intouro and a FlixBus expansion.
