Bus with 50 children stuck under bridge in Prague
A bus carrying approximately 50 children became wedged under a railway bridge in the Vysočany district of Prague on Friday morning. The incident occurred on Jandova Street, causing traffic complications in the area.
Prague firefighters used a winch to extricate the vehicle. While the accident was reported to police around 7:00 AM, firefighters arrived on the scene around 9:30 AM. No injuries were reported among the children or other individuals present.
Railway authorities confirmed that the bridge sustained no damage and rail traffic remained unaffected. This incident follows a similar occurrence in Prague on October 7, where a heavy truck became stuck under a bridge in the Krč district, resulting in significant property damage.
