Busan City launches second recruitment for 10,000 won rent project

Busan City has announced the second round of recruitment for its ‘10,000 won Rent Vacant Store Refill Project,’ running until November 5. The initiative aims to revitalize local commercial districts by attracting competitive small business owners and entrepreneurs to vacant storefronts.

Selected participants will pay a minimum monthly rent of 10,000 won. The city will provide support of up to 1 million won for monthly rent and 4 million won for interior renovation costs per store during an initial four-month period. If monthly rent exceeds 1 million won, the business owner must cover the difference.

The second recruitment phase expands the available locations to include the Hadan Autonomous Commercial District and Deokcheon Youth Street, alongside remaining vacancies in Pusan National University, UN Namgu University-ro, Dongrae Market, Bongrae Market, and Seodong Miro Market. Eligible applicants include prospective entrepreneurs, small business owners preparing for re-entry, and existing businesses planning to relocate or expand.
