Busan selects 10 star small businesses for growth support

Busan city and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency announced the selection of ten "Star Small Businesses" for the 2026 cohort. Out of 336 applicants, the firms were chosen through document review, on‑site evaluation and presentation stages, resulting in a 34 : 1 competition ratio.

Each of the ten companies – including Kkulggok House, Namcheon Myeon‑ga, Luftrus Mansion, Seok‑un‑yoon, Seok‑jeong Galbi, Yangsan‑jip, ARF Studio, OMG, Plot and Honeybrew Food – will receive a 20 million‑won growth grant, strategic consulting, support for national grant applications, collaborative marketing assistance and preferential loan‑guarantee rates. The award ceremony was held in Haeundae‑gu, with Mayor Jeon Jae‑su attending and pledging further aid to help the firms expand nationally and overseas.
