Busan Education Offices Conduct Safety Inspections and Welfare Outreach for Students

The Dongnae District Education Support Office began a comprehensive safety inspection of summer training for school sports teams at 33 elementary and middle schools in Busan. Inspectors checked heat‑related safety measures, training schedules, facility conditions, anti‑bullying policies and transparent funding. Director Ryu Kwang‑hae said, “Safety of student athletes in the heat is our top priority, and we will ensure they are ready for upcoming competitions and the national youth games in Jeju.”

Meanwhile, the Haeundae District Education Support Office is visiting 21 local welfare institutions to identify and assist vulnerable and at‑risk students. Meetings with child‑care officials focus on early detection, case management and sustainable cooperation. Director Kim Soon‑ryang stated, “Not a single child will be left behind; we will build a customized support ecosystem through community partnership."
