Busan hosts 2026 International Offshore Energy Plant Exhibition

The 2026 International Offshore Energy Plant Exhibition (Offshore Korea 2026) is being held at BEXCO in Busan from the 14th to the 16th. Hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the event aims to support overseas market expansion and technical exchange for companies in the shipbuilding, offshore plant, and marine energy sectors.

Approximately 170 companies from 15 countries are participating, with a total of 600 booths, including 443 dedicated to corporate exhibitions. Major South Korean shipbuilders, such as HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Samsung Heavy Industries, Hanwha Ocean, and HJ Shipbuilding & Construction, are participating to showcase their latest technologies.

The exhibition includes a technical conference discussing global market trends, eco-friendly energy, and AI/automation technologies. Additionally, the event features an integrated export consultation session to connect domestic companies with international buyers, an AI Transformation (AX) special pavilion, and a job fair to facilitate recruitment within the maritime industry.
