Busan hosts large-scale job festival for youth and small businesses
The Ministry of Employment and Labor, Busan Metropolitan City, and KB Kookmin Bank are co-hosting the ‘2026 KB Good Job Busan Job Festival’ at BEXCO on the 26th. The event features approximately 200 small and medium-sized enterprises, including 224 designated ‘Youth Job Strong Small Businesses’ selected based on employment performance, work-life balance, and growth potential.
To encourage recruitment, participating companies that hire full-time employees will receive 1 million won per person, up to a maximum of 10 million won per company. Job seekers can receive interview support funds on a first-come, first-served basis. The festival also offers various programs, including recruitment briefings from companies like SK hynix, AI interview experiences, career consulting, and seminars on latest employment trends.
Specialized halls will be operated to showcase high-growth companies, female-friendly logistics and distribution firms, and partner companies of large corporations. The Ministry of Employment and Labor will also provide information on youth employment policies such as the Youth Job Leap Grant and the K-New Deal Academy.
