Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 showcases indie game titles

The Busan Indie Connect (BIC) Festival 2026, held at BEXCO from August 14 to 16, featured significant participation from major gaming platforms and developers. Smilegate’s global platform, Stove, participated as a gold sponsor, focusing on supporting domestic and international developers and publishers through offline booth exhibitions.

Stove showcased various titles, including works from China’s Thermite Games such as ‘House of Legacy’, ‘Travel Guide to Babel’, and ‘Lone Star Hunter’. Additionally, Line Games utilized the Stove booth to debut the demo for ‘A.S.S. (Amazing Slot Survival)’, a roguelike survival title developed by TwoMan Games. Other featured titles included ‘Min-ah, the Disastrous Employee of a Game Company’ by Attic Friends and AIXLAB’s ‘Alleyway: Gwiheun’, which was selected as a ‘Connect Pick’.

Line Games also successfully completed demonstrations for three upcoming PC titles: the SF co-op horror ‘Code Exit’, the black comedy visual novel ‘Come to My Party’, and ‘Amazing Slot Survival’. Following the event, which saw over 40,000 visitors, Line Games CEO Bae Young-jin stated that the company intends to use collected feedback to refine these titles for Steam Early Access and official release.
