Busan IPark struggles with winless streak in K League 2

Busan IPark is facing a difficult period in K League 2, struggling to secure victories amidst a series of winless matches. In a recent away fixture against Daegu FC, Busan managed a 1-1 draw. Despite recording 20 shots and taking an early lead through a goal by Christian, Busan conceded an equalizer during stoppage time in the second half.

Following the match, Busan manager Jo Seong-hwan took full responsibility for the failure to maintain the lead, citing a need to return to fundamental football principles. He noted that while the team executed the tactical plan regarding spacing and balance well, passive play led to avoidable errors in the final third.

This result follows a 0-1 loss to Ansan Greeners, which extended Busan's winless streak to eight matches (two draws and six losses). The team currently sits in 6th place with 38 points, facing an increasing gap between themselves and the league leaders.
