Bushehr education officials announce new environmental major and teacher training
The Bushehr Province Education Department is implementing several initiatives to enhance the quality of education and vocational training in the region. Gholamreza Daneshfar, Director General of Education for Bushehr, has emphasized the importance of creating a vibrant educational atmosphere and improving school quality through teacher empowerment programs. These programs specifically focus on preparing middle school teachers and managers for international assessments such as TIMSS and PIRLS.
Additionally, a new specialized field of study, ‘Environmental Conservation,’ will be launched in the vocational schools of the Persian Gulf district in Bushehr starting next academic year. This initiative follows a memorandum of understanding between the Education Department and the Bushehr Province Department of Environment. The program aims to train specialized personnel to protect the province's significant environmental resources by aligning vocational training with local ecological needs and providing students with practical internship opportunities.
