Bushehr Judiciary to add 60 new judges this year

The head of the Bushehr Judiciary, Mehdi Mehrangiz, announced that 60 new judges will be added to the province's judicial staff this year. This expansion is part of a human resources development program supported by the head of the Iranian Judiciary. The new personnel will be integrated in phases: 30 judges in November, 20 in February, and 10 religious scholars.

During a visit to the Shanavarkeh district in Dashtestan, Mehrangiz noted that the addition of judges aims to strengthen courts and prosecutor offices, particularly in areas that previously faced shortages. For instance, a new judge has been assigned to the Shanavarkeh court to assist the existing single judge, which is expected to accelerate case processing and improve public satisfaction.

Mehrangiz also emphasized the importance of public engagement and the maintenance of religious facilities. He highlighted recent efforts to improve conditions at public prayer spaces and terminals to better serve citizens and travelers.
