Bushehr Province expands infrastructure and educational facilities
Bushehr Province is undergoing significant infrastructure and land-use developments to address the needs of its growing industrial and residential sectors. Representative Mousa Ahmadi reported that 64 schools have been completed or put into operation over the last two years in southern Bushehr. This expansion aims to mitigate the educational challenges caused by three decades of rapid industrial growth in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, which has led to increased population density and a migration of specialists to the region.
In a separate administrative move, the Bushehr Department of Roads and Urban Development approved various infrastructural and economic projects focused on land-use planning. These projects include agricultural and livestock initiatives in Dashtestan, such as polyethylene irrigation strip production and cattle fattening, as well as infrastructure development in Dashti and Tangestan. The committee emphasized that these approvals aim to balance regional development with environmental protection and strict adherence to urban boundary regulations.
