Bushehr Standards Directorate achieves top energy efficiency rating

The Bushehr Standards Directorate has achieved a 'B' energy rating based on Iranian national standards. This recognition follows the implementation of technical and corrective measures designed to reduce energy waste and improve the efficiency of the administrative building.

Key improvements included the installation of double-glazed windows, window awnings, and thermal insulation on doors. The directorate also utilized curtains for heat radiation control, installed capacitor banks to improve the power factor, and serviced or modernized split air conditioning units. Iman Movafagh Dehdashti, the Director General of the Bushehr Standards Directorate, noted that these actions serve as a model for other executive agencies to manage energy consumption, reduce costs, and promote responsible resource use.
