Bushido and Anna-Maria Ferchichi criticize German visa regulations

Rapper Bushido and Anna-Maria Ferchichi have expressed frustration with German bureaucracy after being unable to retain their long-term nannies, Gretchen and Phemi, following their move from Dubai to Germany.

The two nannies, originally from the Philippines, had lived with the family in the United Arab Emirates for four years. Although they accompanied the family to Germany for several months, they were unable to secure legal work visas to continue their employment.

In their podcast, ‘Im Bett mit Anna-Maria und Anis Ferchichi’, the couple stated they were prepared to meet all legal requirements, including paying wages, taxes, and social security. Bushido criticized the German state for not providing a solution for their official employment, noting that other European countries, such as Spain, have agreements with the Philippines that facilitate such legal employment.
