Bushiroad faces stock shortages for Palworld Official Card Game

The Palworld Official Card Game is experiencing significant stock shortages following the July 30 launch of its first booster pack, ‘Dawn of Palpagos’. Bushiroad has issued an apology to collectors and players due to the difficulty in finding products, noting that demand has exceeded initial expectations.

To address the shortage and combat scalping, Bushiroad announced that upcoming shipments at pop-up stores in Japan may be sold with the shrink wrap removed from boxes. This measure aims to reduce the resale value of unopened boxes and ensure more products reach actual players and collectors.

The trading card game, based on the survival title by Pocketpair, was launched with a global strategy. Bushiroad previously indicated that English-language orders had significantly outpaced Japanese orders, highlighting the international appeal of the IP. Future expansions are already scheduled, including ‘Legends Awaken’ on October 30 and a third set in early 2027.
