Business awards recognize excellence in Romanian retail banking and market research

Exim Bank Romania has been named ‘Retail Bank of the Year’ at the Financial Leaders Awards Gala 2026, organized by Think Biz. The award recognizes the institution’s efforts to transform the retail banking experience through innovative, customer-oriented solutions and increased accessibility.

Additionally, the inaugural Empath Awards 2026 celebrated excellence in market research and business decision-making in Romania. A total of 14 distinctions—comprising 6 Gold, 5 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards—were presented to various agencies and brands. Notable winners included Raiffeisen Bank Romania, which received Gold in the Research Application category and Client Team of the Year, and Unilever, which secured Gold in both Creative Development and New Consumer Insights.
