Business development initiatives launched in Portugal

Several regional business associations in Portugal are launching programs to support local companies through networking, digitalization, and sustainability training.

In Évora, the Núcleo Empresarial da Região de Évora (NERE) will host a business matching and networking event on November 6. The program includes the presentation of the DigiTool4Agri project and a showcase of regional agri-food products designed to facilitate professional contact and business collaboration among local entrepreneurs.

In the Santarém region, NERSANT has introduced the IMPULSO+ PME program to assist small and medium-sized enterprises with digital transformation, ESG criteria, competitiveness, innovation, and internationalization. Developed in partnership with IAPMEI and funded by COMPETE 2030, the program uses a training-action methodology. Presentation sessions for the program are scheduled for November 4 in Ourém, November 5 in Benavente, and November 11 in Abrantes.
