Business excellence awards held in Langley and Delta

Local business communities in Langley and Delta, British Columbia, recently celebrated professional achievements through annual excellence awards ceremonies.

The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce hosted its 30th annual Langley Business Excellence Awards, which saw a record 178 nominations. Alliance Concrete Pumps was named Business of the Year. Other recipients included StandardAero, which won both the Business Innovation Award and the Workplace Excellence Award, and Bar Down Bakery, named New Business of the Year. The Langley United Soccer Association received the Community Organization of the Year award, while the Langley Hospice Society was recognized as the Charitable or Non-Profit Organization of the Year.

In Delta, the Delta Chamber of Commerce held its 75th annual Business Excellence Awards. Winners included RAM Construction for Large Business of the Year, Kennedy Landscaping Ltd. for Medium Business of the Year, and Indalma Creative Inc. for Small Business of the Year. Delta Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was named Emerging Business of the Year, and Wenplastics received the Environmental Champion Award. Aarron Deol, founder of Waste Recovery Services Ltd., was honored with the Young Entrepreneur Award, and KidSport Delta was named Non-Profit Organization of the Year.
