Business expansion grows in Normandy with new retail and fitness openings

Several new businesses are expanding in the Normandy region of France. In Carentan-les-Marais, a new Burger King restaurant officially opened on October 8, 2026, located near the RN13. The establishment, managed by franchisees Charlotte and Julien Camadro, has created 52 jobs and features 100 indoor seats and a terrace with a children's play area.

In Mondeville, two additional commercial developments are underway. A new Fitness Park gym opened on September 30, 2026, occupying a 1,600 m2 space. The facility includes specialized areas for Hyrox training, featuring a triple sled track.

Additionally, the bakery Maison Becam is preparing to open a second location in Mondeville, expected by mid-December 2026. The 700 m2 shop will be situated near the new Fitness Park and will offer 130 seats. The bakery is currently in the recruitment phase for sales and baking staff.
