Business forums in Uruguay and Peru host regional entrepreneurship events

Regional business forums in Uruguay and Peru recently gathered hundreds of entrepreneurs to discuss innovation, digitalization, and market expansion.

In Uruguay, the Salto 2026 Business Forum, organized by the Centro Comercial e Industrial de Salto, hosted over 350 participants. The event focused on digital transformation, including e-commerce, logistics, and payment solutions. Discussions also covered internationalization strategies and opportunities related to the Mercosur–European Union agreement. Various national institutions, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Banco República, participated in sessions providing financing and training tools.

In Peru, the Red Internacional de Negocios held its 17th edition of the ‘Networking and Business among Wines’ event in Surco. The gathering brought together more than 120 executives, managers, and consultants. Featured speakers included Gonzalo Santillana, CEO of Mediterranean Shipping Company, and Orit Pollak, CEO of Reyemsa and Orginor Natura, to facilitate professional connections and identify new business opportunities.
