Business growth rankings highlight real estate in Brazil and tech in Portugal

In Brazil, the fifth edition of the ‘Negócios em Expansão’ ranking, promoted by Exame in partnership with BTG Pactual and PwC Brasil, has highlighted significant growth within the real estate sector. The ranking evaluates companies based on the annual expansion of net operating revenue. Among the 491 selected companies, several real estate firms showed notable progress.

In the R$ 2 to R$ 5 million revenue bracket, Oportuna Engenharia e Construção from Valinhos (SP) recorded a 37.5% expansion. In the R$ 5 to R$ 30 million category, Estrela Urbanidade from Juiz de Fora (MG) achieved a 19.8% increase. Notably, CR Duarte Engenharia, based in Fortaleza (CE), led its category (R$ 30 to R$ 150 million) by growing its net operating revenue from R$ 3.4 million in 2024 to R$ 67.4 million in 2025.

Meanwhile, in Portugal, Deloitte is organizing a ranking to recognize the 50 fastest-growing technology companies. The program focuses on firms that demonstrate innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of proprietary technology. Winners will gain access to networking opportunities and the possibility of joining the Technology Fast 500 EMEA international ranking. The program also includes special categories such as the Impact Award for social impact and the Women in Leadership Award.
