Business initiatives focus on social and economic impact in Spain
The Fòrum Empresarial del Llobregat will host the FEmImpacte 2026 awards on October 7 at the Hotel Porta Fira in L’Hospitalet. The event aims to recognize companies, institutions, and individuals whose projects contribute to the economic, social, cultural, and sustainable development of the territory.
Awards will be presented in six categories: Economic Impact, Social Impact, Cultural Impact, Sustainability, Public and Public-Private Initiatives, and the SME with the greatest local impact. The ceremony is supported by various sponsors, including BBVA, Factor Energia, and the Diputació de Barcelona.
In a separate discussion regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Safor region, the success of partnerships between humanitarian organizations and local businesses was highlighted. Cruz Roja has established collaborations with companies such as Ale-Hop and Moll Motor. For instance, Ale-Hop has provided energy-saving kits to vulnerable families and donated sunglasses to lifeguards, demonstrating how private sector involvement can support social needs through both financial and in-kind contributions.
