Business networking events were held in Nagua, Dominican Republic, and Cancún, Mexico, to foster commercial connections and entrepreneurship.
In Nagua, the First Commercial Round for the María Trinidad Sánchez province brought together entrepreneurs, buyers, and various productive sectors. Held at the Hotel Sinaí, the event aimed to identify marketing and collaboration possibilities. Abraham Victoria Gelabert, president of the María Trinidad Sánchez Tourism Cluster, emphasized the need for scenarios that allow local businesses to expand through tourism and trade. Ruth Acevedo, president of the local Chamber of Commerce and Production, also highlighted the importance of strengthening economic links within the province.
In Cancún, the “Hagamos Negocios” platform hosted an encounter at La Grandiosa Cantina to connect business owners and entrepreneurs. Led by Carlos Habacuc Ruiz Uvalle, the initiative seeks to facilitate commercial relationships and project sharing in a collaborative environment. This event follows a previous meeting in Playa del Carmen as part of an effort to expand the business community's connectivity in the Mexican Caribbean.
