Business World Summit held in Elazığ focuses on economic resilience

The 27th Business World Summit, held in Elazığ under the theme ‘Economic Resilience in an Age of Permanent Uncertainty,’ brought together business leaders, NGOs, and economic representatives from across Turkey. The summit addressed critical topics including the future of the Turkish economy, regional development, investment, digital transformation, sustainability, and the strengthening of SMEs.

Key speakers included Koç Holding Chairman Ömer M. Koç, TÜSİAD Chairman Ozan Diren, and Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. Discussions emphasized that economic resilience should be measured not only by financial indicators but also through production capacity, technology, qualified human resources, and strong collaborations. The Bodrum Association of Tradesmen, Manufacturers, and Businesspeople (BESİAD) participated to represent Bodrum’s economic interests and explore regional cooperation opportunities.
