Businessman dies in off-road accident in Jaguaruna, Brazil

Fillipe Fermo Bif, a 34-year-old businessman from Içara, died following an off-road vehicle accident in Jaguaruna, Santa Catarina. The incident occurred on a Thursday night in the dunes of Balneário Figueirinha while Bif was participating in a trail with friends.

Reports indicate the vehicle, described as a UTV or tricycle, overturned during an attempt to climb a hill. Due to the difficult terrain, rescue teams required assistance from Bif's friends to reach the site using off-road vehicles. Although initially found conscious with a fractured leg, Bif suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest during the six-kilometer transport to the rescue vehicles. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the Jaguaruna Hospital.

The tragedy has drawn significant local attention as the accident occurred only four days after Bif and his wife, Renata Candiotto, announced on social media that they were expecting a son.
