Businessman killed in stabbing during dispute in Sinop

Leonardo Moschetta, a 42-year-old businessman in the transport sector, was killed by stabbing during a dispute at his company in Sinop.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when a suspect arrived at the business to have tires changed on a truck. A conversation between the suspect and Moschetta escalated into an argument, during which the individual drew a knife and stabbed Moschetta in the chest.

Although employees rushed the businessman to a health unit, he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect fled the scene and is currently being sought by the Polícia Civil. The Sinop Commercial and Business Association (Aces) issued a statement expressing deep regret, noting that the tragedy occurred amidst the high pressures and tensions often faced by entrepreneurs.
