BUSKİ celebrates 37th anniversary in Bursa

The Bursa Water and Sewerage Administration (BUSKİ), an affiliate of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, celebrated its 37th anniversary with a ceremony at the Acemler Campus. Established on September 8, 1989, the institution has managed the city's water and sewage infrastructure for nearly four decades.

During the event, which included an exhibition of the agency's history, 200 retired employees were honored with plaques for their long-term service. Numan Çakır, representing Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba, attended the ceremony and expressed gratitude to the staff and retirees for their contributions to the city.

BUSKİ currently provides services to approximately 3.5 million citizens. Its infrastructure includes 41 drinking water treatment plants, 134 wastewater treatment plants, 998 water reservoirs, and 55 irrigation ponds.
