Busko library hosts ecological workshops for students

The Busko branch of the Pedagogical Provincial Library in Kielce participated in the 33rd edition of the ‘Clean Up the World’ campaign in September. Organized by the Nasza Ziemia Foundation under the theme ‘SOS for water! Let it be free of trash’, the initiative focused on environmental protection.

Coordinator Ewa Tarapata conducted 23 ecological lessons and workshops for 437 preschool and primary school students, along with 54 teachers. The educational sessions aimed to foster pro-ecological attitudes through topics such as waste segregation and the impact of human pollution on forests, rivers, and seas. Activities included Kamishibai theater performances to engage children in discussions about environmental consequences.
