BusPlana expands daily express service between Tarragona and Barcelona

BusPlana has increased its express line between Tarragona and Barcelona, adding two additional outbound and two inbound trips on weekdays. The new schedule runs the full Tarragona‑Barcelona corridor without stopping at Barcelona Airport, responding to demand from commuters and students—about 600 people travel the route each day. The service accepts the T10/120 travel card, which offers ten trips within 120 days for €4 per journey. In addition to the express line, BusPlana operates a separate route that links Tarragona city, Barcelona Airport and Barcelona, capable of transporting more than 1,000 passengers daily, providing further schedule options for travelers.

The expansion aims to improve reliability and capacity for frequent travelers in the region, reinforcing the bus network as a convenient alternative to rail or car travel between the two cities.
