Bussan-kan to relocate from Michi-no-Eki Takanosu to Aeon Town Takasu

Bussan-kan, a food and beverage retail facility located within Michi-no-Eki Takanosu in Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture, is scheduled to close at the end of this month.

The facility will relocate to Aeon Town Takasu in mid-October. This move is part of a larger project aimed at renewing the Michi-no-Eki area. The operator, Takanosu Kanko Bussan Kaihatsu, stated that the new location will continue to operate as a restaurant and shop, with the goal of creating a space accessible to a wide range of local generations for both tourism and daily use.

Originally opened in 1989, Bussan-kan has operated alongside the ‘Odaiko no Yakata’ exhibition facility, which houses large drums used in the Tsujikoshi Shrine festival processions.
