Busta Rhymes releases “SPAZZZ” single built on J Dilla beats

Rapper Busta Rhymes has issued a new single titled “SPAZZZ,” which he says features production from the late hip‑hop producer J Dilla. The track opens with Busta’s baritone over a bouncy Dilla‑style beat, but listeners have noted that the composition changes after the first 16 bars.

Fans and commentator J. Scienide point out that the second portion appears to be the work of Virginia producer Nottz, while the third segment sounds like a beat crafted by Kev Brown, a longtime collaborator of Busta Rhymes. Brown later confirmed his contribution on social media and said he had not been compensated for the usage. In a 2020 GQ interview, Busta Rhymes mentioned he possesses over 300 unreleased Dilla beats and intends to record verses over them in the future.
