Busted singer James Bourne receives kidney from brother

Busted musician James Bourne has revealed that his youngest brother, Chris, saved his life by donating a kidney. The 43-year-old singer shared the news on social media, stating that doctors had previously informed him he had only a few years left to live due to a serious medical condition.

Bourne noted that he is already feeling significantly better and confirmed that both he and his brother are recovering well from the surgery. This health crisis previously forced Bourne to withdraw from a UK and Ireland tour last year, during which Chris stepped in to perform with the band.

While Bourne has not disclosed the specific medical condition that necessitated the transplant, he described his brother as a “hero” for the life-saving intervention.
