Busto Arsizio hosts jazz concert and community space projects

The city of Busto Arsizio is hosting several cultural and community-focused initiatives. As part of the ‘Eventi in Jazz’ festival, the Area Open Project will perform at the Teatro Sociale on October 10. The ensemble, featuring Claudia Tellini, Patrizio Fariselli, Stefano Fariselli, Marco Micheli, and Walter Paoli, aims to honor the legacy of the innovative Italian band Area by blending jazz, rock, and avant-garde sounds.

Simultaneously, the Fondazione Comunitaria del Varesotto is focusing on the role of physical spaces in fostering community relations. Marika Arena, a board member of the foundation, has highlighted the transformation of the foundation’s headquarters on via Orrigoni and the role of the Teatro Sociale as vital community infrastructures. These urban regeneration and community-building projects are scheduled to be presented during the ‘OPEN! Studi Aperti 2026’ event.
