Busto Arsizio hosts SportivaMente sport‑books festival Sep 9‑11

Busto Arsizio, Italy, will hold the fifth edition of SportivaMente – the Festival of Sports Books from September 9 to 11. The free‑entry event is organised by the cultural association Associazione Culturale Territori, in collaboration with the editorial group More News and under the patronage of the municipality and the Panathlon Club La Malpensa.

City officials Luca Folegani, deputy mayor for sports and urban regeneration, and Manuela Maffioli, councilor for culture and identity, highlighted the festival’s role in promoting an educational and social view of sport and encouraging reading. Local partners such as Concessionaria Paglini and the Alfredo Binda Cycling Club also support the programme, which includes talks with athletes and authors.
