Busto Arsizio school launches Green School Summer Contest

The Istituto Comprensivo Nicolò Tommaseo in Busto Arsizio has launched its fourth annual Green School Summer Contest, titled “Facciamo vincere la natura … con le Tommaseo.” The initiative aims to raise awareness regarding environmental sustainability, ecosystem preservation, and biodiversity within the school community and their families.

Students from kindergarten through middle school may participate individually or in groups by submitting photographs. The entries must combine the artistic, architectural, or cultural aspects of Busto Arsizio with a message of green sustainability, specifically highlighting how nature—such as flora or fauna—reclaims and improves the urban landscape.

The contest is part of the “Agenda del Verde Pulito 2026” and is patronized by the Municipality of Busto Arsizio, the Green School Varese network, and several local organizations including Legambiente BustoVerde and Agesp Energia Spa. The submission deadline is September 22, 2026.
