Bus‑truck collision near Sauce Viejo Airport injures several passengers
A bus used for a shopping tour collided with a truck on the roundabout that connects the access road to Sauce Viejo Airport with National Route 11 and the Santa Fe‑Rosario highway in Santa Fe Province, Argentina. The impact caused severe damage to the bus front, shattering the windshield, and left a number of passengers with injuries that required transport to the SAMCo hospital in Santo Tomé.
Witnesses said the bus had departed Rosario for Chaco and that some passengers accused the driver of watching a football match at the time of the crash. Emergency services, including the Radioelectrico command, provincial guard and several ambulances, responded to the scene and began investigations to determine the cause and responsibility for the accident.
