Busy Philipps reports no sign of tumor in six-month MRI scan
Actress Busy Philipps has announced that her six-month follow-up MRI scan shows no signs of tumor progression following brain surgery. The 47-year-old star was diagnosed earlier this year with a grade 2 oligodendroglioma, a rare and slow-growing tumor, after a full-body MRI scan.
Philipps underwent two operations to remove the tumor and has since reached the six-month milestone since her initial surgery. While the scan confirmed the absence of the tumor, it did detect a sinus infection, which the actress noted has caused redness in her left eye. She also shared that a recent routine mammogram returned clear results.
Philipps previously shared that the diagnosis was made possible through a Prenuvo scan. She has expressed gratitude for her recovery and encouraged others to listen to their bodies regarding health concerns.
