Butchart Gardens to host greenhouse tours in late 2026

Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay, Canada, will launch Greenhouse Tours starting October 31, 2026. The tours will run on Saturdays and Sundays through November 29, 2026.

The program offers visitors insight into the horticultural operations of the facility, covering 26 greenhouses spanning approximately 0.8 hectares. Topics include plant propagation, the production of young plants, wintering processes, and pest management. These tours provide a look at the active work required to prepare the gardens for upcoming seasons.

Due to narrow paths and uneven terrain, the tours are not wheelchair or scooter accessible. Additionally, children under twelve and pets are not permitted to participate in the guided walks, which are conducted in small groups.
