Butcher Babies announce new metal album ‘Nightbloom’

Metal band Butcher Babies has announced the release of their new album, ‘Nightbloom’, scheduled for October 2 via Judge & Jury Records. The announcement includes the debut of a music video for their latest single, ‘Blame It on the Wind’.

The album was produced by Howard Benson, with co-production from Joe Rickard, Neil Sanderson, and Henry Flury. Additional production for the track ‘Songbird’ was provided by Cameron Pierce Mizell and Evan McKeever.

Frontwoman Heidi Shepherd described the album as a deeply personal project born from a period of self-reflection and therapy. She noted that the songwriting process allowed her to process suppressed emotions and past traumas, including experiences with divorce, loss, and religious ostracization.
