Butler University women's basketball hosts Franklin College in preseason exhibition

The Butler University women's basketball team is scheduled to host the Franklin College Grizzlies for a preseason exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The matchup serves as the final preseason game before the regular season begins on Nov. 2.

The team is led by head coach Maria Marchesano, an alumna who took over the program in April. The current roster includes 13 student-athletes from five different countries. Key returning players include Saniya Jackson and Nevaeh Jackson, alongside transfers such as Lili Krasovec and Destiny Macharia, who joined the program from Purdue Fort Wayne.
