BVV Barendrecht and KV Mechelen implement organizational and roster changes

BVV Barendrecht is implementing professionalization measures within its women's football program following a disappointing previous season. Under new head coach Sven Louter, the club has introduced improvements including increased sponsorship budgets, video analysis, and dedicated staff for meals and equipment. Club officials noted that while the team felt undersupported previously, they have also demanded a more professional attitude from the players.

In Belgian football, KV Mechelen is active in the transfer market following a slow start to the season. The club has loaned 20-year-old Slovenian defender Lovro Golic to Helmond Sport to gain playing time. Additionally, Mechelen is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign 19-year-old midfielder Marco Decherf from USL Dunkerque for a fee of nearly 1 million euros.
