BXP Inc., the largest publicly traded developer of premier workplaces in the United States, finalized more than 200,000 square feet of new leases in San Francisco’s South Financial District. Dropbox occupied the entire 64,000‑sq‑ft building at 50 Hawthorne, while AI firm Decagon and construction company Swinerton Builders each took sizable spaces at 680 Folsom, bringing the property to near full occupancy.
LXP Industrial Trust reported its second‑quarter 2026 results and disclosed a pending all‑cash merger with affiliates of Brookfield Asset Management and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The deal values LXP at approximately $5.2 billion, a premium of about 12% to its recent trading price, and is expected to close by the end of 2026 pending shareholder approval.
